Anything thats not too caustic, but will disolve the glue lol

depends where it is?
plastic?if so get tape off and soak the glue in furniture polish for a couple of hours then rub off.
metal?on a budget?petrol,best is tar and glue remover,either way polish after

top of doors?yup lol,furniture polish first lol,it will look odd but less damage,then as above for metal,but obviously keep it off the rubber as much as u can,once done,soak the rubbers in wd 40

Try brake cleaner, it's brill for cleaning adhesives off, metals or plastics.
