yeah I was thinking that too...
specially as it's lifted and snorkel and stuff....
We'll see what happens might go and have a look at it in the next few days..

If your able to remove the snorkel an hide the hole well. eg: bonnet scoop kinda thing. The snorkel will knock the cr*p out its value mate.
Then i'd expect more then £500.
If my truck was worth £500 i'd rather put it in the crusher then sell it. Or once i'd calmed down.... keep it an go feckin crazy with the mods.
a discovery is a really comfortable truck. space wise in the cabin its better then a surf. boot space is cr*p. But you should be able live with it for a lil while. An its very light and airy while surfs feel a bit darker by comparison.
Some disco es models sell for over £3k around here. If the trucks any good then do a swap an sell the disco once its got a long mot on. 3 months aint much.
If you do swap for gawds sake check the chalices on the axle. The chrome balls that house the CV's on the front axle. one scrape an they will leak oil an rust out an cost around £500 to change a set.... I would expect to get it cheaper but its a sh!t of a job.
Either way, a landy with leaking houses takes a hell of a knock in price.
