im putting this up on here coz i know more people look here.i need to find an auto g/box for a rover v8,prefferably a borg warner c series. unit.can any one help,thanks in advance.

im not totaly sure,reverse gear has disapeared and re appears when it wants to and it just wont pick up through any of the gears.

the only problem with that is i had the g/box modified to take the power of the tvr lump.at a huge cost,so i dont know what parts they used to uprate it.hence the expense.but i do know that the standard c series box is ok on the back of a 3.9 so it should be ok.

would a range rover vogue box be any good ??

bugga,sorry it needs to be a borg warner unit,not a gm 180 unit.

no not at all it needs to be an early borg warner unit,the gm units were fitted to the v8 later,that would mean i have to fab a new prop.
