  • Pro Comp ES9000 rears?

Hi, does anyone know where i can get some +4" Procomp ES9000 rears, but not from Explorer or LA Supertrucks? (LA Supertrucks are approaching their sixth week of telling me to ring back next week, and from what i've heard about Explorer they may be as bad).
I really need them delivered and fitted before the 18th or it'll be yet another day's off roading cancelled.

    Thanks.

order some +3" from explorer and they send you +7" (well they did to me) so by that reckoning you need to ask them for standard shocks.

Ok, will try those suggestions. Are Rancho's a similar price Mud?
Does the fitting help offer still stand Graham?

              Cheers.

Nope, thay are at least twice the price - but it seems you get what you pay for.

If you can actually GO to Explorer, you might be lucky. They are a bit shambolic with mail order to say the least.

What about TJM, or OME. All more expensive, but easily available - and better quality.

Many of these places don't do +4's, including Roughtrax. Explorer said they'd have to order them from America and that it would take up to two weeks, which because of what i've been told about Explorer, put me off. Probably should have just gone with them six weeks ago though...
LA Supertrux said they found some ES3000's in +4 and that the only difference between the ES3's and ES9's was that ES9's are gas charged to stop the fluid frothing up when going fast over bumpy ground. The bloke said there was no difference in damping ability or performance. Anyone know?

                          Cheers.

I dont feel very confident to go against L.A.Supertrux in the knowledge stakes but from what i gather the ES9000 is a firmer shock.

I'll do the honours then. What they have told you, Don, is complete and utter boll0cks. The 3000's and 9000's differ on more than just their contents.

Edit: Just going on the basic marketing bumph alone, you can see that they differ, and that they are designed for different requirements.
