Thanks very much to Andrew(s) for another top trip, nice to meet some new people and see the old guard.

It rained like no other Saturday night and we saw loads of flooding.

I think.... that section might be the part where last year/year before plumb bob went on his side.

the ground just falls away on one side. They were probably trying to avoid the water by going around it on the side slope. Side slopes being one of the easiest way to come unstuck!!!

We just found them near the start of Strata, we could not see any reason why they were on their sides. They were in the way we started to move them and their owners turned up and even after they said what happened, we still could not work out what happened???

You missed a couple of classic quotes today from a member. (hope he does not mind )

and then later when the idea of repeating the route backwards croped up...

To be fair, that route is the most scary we do and today with all the rain it was worst (better ) than normal.

Hello campers ,I made it back in one piece

I'd like to thank Andrew for organising this weekend's events, and also to whomever else was involved in making the weekend a great success.
In addition I would especially like to thank Graham for the change in venue date as this weekend's weather was much better than last week's.
I throughly enjoyed myself both off-road and during the extracurricular activities associated and felt very welcomed by all the usual attendees to Wales. Basically I had a fantastic weekend.
and to quote a man who no longer owns a Surf, and u know who you are.
