seeing as your here i want to pick your brains.
left work tonight, got in truck, flat battery, DAMM IT.
Noticed for the past week or so she struggles on a morning.
The battery says 550cca, i don't think thats enought, & there is
yards of room for a bigger one.
              ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Ive looked on the forum it says i need about 700cca but want an experts opinion.

wouldn't actually go as far as being an expert but if you can get a pair of 700's or 750's then that should be ideal.you want to change both as one bad one will pull the good one down

ive only got the one battery anyway.
so if it all goes tits up at least i can tell the misses it was you.

only joking, im sure it will be fine.
It can't do any harm anyway, its still only 12 volts.

                    cheers mate.

when truck is running put multimeter on battery,13.5 to 14.5v=good alternator, above or below dead alternator, unless belt is loose,if alternator is fine, then it's definately yr battery, best to check first

it must be the curling tongs that are draining the battery.
