    Home made snorkel finished(£44.00)photos
    Hi peolpe,started makeing a home made snorkel last week,and think every one should do it, All you need is a Socket set,Jig saw, Plastic down pipe, 1 90degre bend,1meter of Flex Tubeing,and Clips, Oh and about 6 hours,AND A BIG HAMMER,after a lot of skin off hands, All worth it and only 44 quid it looks lush





    Now to test it out:
    Not going to rest till its broke

    any pics of inside the engine bay, where it connects to the filter?

        Nah boisurf's one is the best .........ok it was a total build cost of £68 but a stainless steel one

          Hmmmmmmmmmm

          It's the day for home made snorkels - compare this with Tobys

          It's so difficult to say which one looks better

          Look out Eastbourne, the Pandas are coming !

            Can do mate its on a 2.4,all i used was the rubber pipe that come off the air box,turned it round and connected to the plastic down pipe,
            basicly,it works, snorkel top,then plastic down pipe to inside of wing then flexy to a 90degree plasic down pipe bend,then a little bit of pipe to take it though wing and then connects to rubber hose that was allready on air box job done,will put pics on tomorrow when light

                You can change the pipe to what ever you want at any time,i was going for cheap and cheap,that price includes the snorkel top to,£24 quid on flae bay,suppose you could make one and bring the cost down even more,
