I have not got around to asking if mine needs doing, it is going for it’s MOT next Saturday (25 Oct.) so all being well I might contact Toyota GB about the steering recall.

On the other hand... the Surf is 14 years old and nothing has broke yet......
Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

got mine today. letter states 4 hour job, no hint of a courtesy car or anything else.

if other steering bits need doing, whats the score? i dont want them to replace one bit and connect it back to knackered other bits.....

                  any ideas?

I got mine done and they gave me a courtesy car and once finished they put a gallon of derv in mine! Also did a free manual inspection on simple stuff. Ring them before you go and ask for courtesy car.
