Had a brilliant day out yesterday, even had the sunshine! Started off at Wolsingham, up through Doctors Gate towards Hamsterley Forrest mountain bike centre, then up towards Alston and finally to the cafe at the top of Hartside Pass. Only the three trucks but that's all it takes I suppose.
Nice to meet a great bunch of lads who know how to off road, so many thanks to Alan (123-gtt), Paul, and Adrian (Webby).
Parts of the route where really deep and I think it's about time I had a body lift, so if anyone cares to do it for me I'd be prepared to part with beer tokens! Unfortunately most of you are too many miles away so I'll have to ask my 4x4 mechanic mate if he fancies a go at it.
