bull bar mounting

Help please
Got a bar from stormy ages ago and the brackets dont apear to line up with anything, I seem to remember him saying I would have to fab up some brackets, so RELAX Rich no blame given or implied.
What I want to know is where is your bull bar attached to, size of bolts etc, I apreciate there are many different ones but if I can get a variety of ideas I can decide which I think will suit me,

post some pics of the bull bar up at the low end where the mounts would be.


Most of the time its just an L shape bracket. but upside down....

Sides bolt into bull bar an the top part goes on underneath the hooks on the front.

You might need to make a support for it aswell that runs from somewhere on the bar to the chassis member at the very front.

most attach to the bolt holes on the front of chassis legs from the bottom

Looks like that is where I will need to attach, do you know the thread size and type in the bottom of the chassis rails?

Tony i'm sure i got some bolts here that will fit the chasis if you wanted to have a look around when you come down to do the doors

No, but I have a pile of bolts here that will do the job if you want em posting...

it fits on to mine here




passanger side




drivers side is fitted with the recovery hook
