I am just replacing my diff oil at the moment and thought just i would check what oil i would need, by checking the forum. VIN PLATE A343f and G295.
have just read G295 has a LSD (limited slip diff) Being stupid as i am! is the oil different?? to the G294. Also whats the difference between the 2 and can I use 4 wheel drive any different???

Yeah, the oil is different mate.
Go into a motor factors an ask for oil suitable for an LSD.

Basically a limited slip diff just means that rather then one wheel spinning like crazy when its lost traction the other one will eventually take up momentum an move a bit.

It's pretty basic an not a failsafe replacement for an actual differential lock but still....

    helps

        That still works.

having an LSD is better then an open diff.

Yes you can, for slippery or loose surfaces.
