just looking at why some people really hate facebook, and this made me laugh:

I HATE facebook (spazbook) because it is a horrible gimicky piece of s**t. Why the f**k would you send someone a 'virtual drink'?! For f**ks sake! Yummy yummy 'I've just recieved a drink', licking my MacBook screen is so tasty. F**king ridiculous.

Nothing new though. I (to my eternal shame) used to use IRC (or internet relay chat), a very early form of forum, back in the day (10 years or so ago) and people used to say they were off for a drink "would anyone like one?"

I got banned from more 'rooms' than I can remember for questioning their sanity in not so many words

never got round to using it. ive only ever played one online PC game, and almost everyone on there annoyed me so i dont even bother!
i dont even chat online, apart from here or some other technical forum of some sort..

actually, i post on youtube quite a bit because thats funny.

i use facebook to keep in touch with people, especially the ones out of england.
people that add me as a friend just for the sake of it, end up getting deleted if i dont speak to them.

my emailing has sort of moved to facebook, i hardly use msn either..
all my work emails are for work, and the blackberry does its job.

There are some great games on facebook. Scrabulous was fantastic for playing friends over time. Currently playing a game called Pathword, is hugely addictive and fun, but it makes your eyes ache and brain go squidgy after a while.
