    yep deffo looks miles better with no sidesteps..

    Miss Jug did not want them off first but when she saw it she said:
    "oh yeah that looks better, when we get some money u shud lift it more tho and get bigger tires..."

    hehe I ain't arguing

    i'm toying with the idea of doing that too, especially as one of mine is trying to fall off of its own accord.

    is it a quick job?

                          People should realize that there are two time scales at play here... there is “Toby Time” and normal time.

                          Toby told me that fitting the tow bar wiring was a “10 min job”... in fact by the time I had carefully removed the interior trim, checked and double checked all the wires, made the connections and carefully put everything back together it was more like 2 hours. I won’t rush or bodge when it comes to working on my truck
                          Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

                            then again taking the steps off really is only 8 bolts and 4 nuts....

                              I've had mine off and on and off and on etc. etc.

                              Seems to always look better the other way around.

                              I like them off but my kids/wife kept moaning cos they struggled to get in and out.

                              One thing I did do though, when you remove them, give the supporting tubular frame a good slap with waxoyl etc.

                              Also do the connection points on the chassis, keeps them good and stops rust.
