    how do i attach a file from my documents to athread ??

        its a music file, about 2.5 mb

          same as you would an image, click 'manage attachments' below. It'll only let you do certain file types and there's different size limits depending on the file type

            2.5mb well over the limits and i'm not sure it allows any sound file formats anyway. Could use windows movie maker to turn it into a video with a plain background picture, upload it to youtube or google vids and post the link.

              Turn if off, then turn it on again, or ctl, alt, del.

              Thats what our IT dept tell us to do!!!

                right, done that.just waiting for it to upload.
                its a mates sample, he asked if i could "tidy" it. when i picked meself up of the floor, i said i may know some computer bufs who could help

                          A lot of the time it will boil down to what software its recorded on an what hardware was being used.

                          Obviously there is panning an levels etc that need to be set for the final master copy which does actually make a massive difference.

                          On my set up sometimes i'll record my guitar parts twice an have one panned heavy to the left an one heavy to the right.

                          Seems to thicken the end mix a treat!!

                            it was recorded live, straight on to a mini disc.there was no software involved mate. its as it came out on the night
