i spoke to a supervisor today and if things come back as a definate permenant nerve damage then i will lose alot of money and possibly even my job due to the fact that i won't be able to carry out my contracted duties but networkrail will have to pay tho.Due to me having to take strong meds i'm now not allowed to work on track on my own anymore so things aren't looking to good at the mo.
once i get my compensation i may go into breaking surfs and l/cruisers as a part time job as there seems to be a good enough market for selling abroad aswell.https://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

WHEN your compensation IS paid, maybe you could use it to set up in the breaker business properly, with premises etc, and work for yourself, building a nice profitable business, doing something you enjoy and not having to 'work for the man'.

me and Mandy have been chatting a bit lately about doing something like this properly.Hopefully the claim should be settled in the next 3 months so i should know whats what then and if i will still have a job,but i got to start planning things to be on the safe side so i got something thats bringing money in if my job does go.
My employer has admitted liability to the accident but once i had the 2 ops on my hip everything else seems to of been forgotten about till yesterday at the medical. So if i'm going to lose 9k a year or even my job at worse then i should be getting a decent payout.
Mandy has recently found out that she may have heart probs aswell and has to go into hospital for further test and so she may not be able to do her job for much longer either due to the stress she gets from work.Last edited by stormforce; 12 September 2008, 19:24.https://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

if the worse comes to the worse then i'll get a local driving job or something.
When i started on the railway i never intended in making it a permenant job but just a in between job but i got to like it up to 3 years ago.
Things will sort themselves out but when i was told the news yesterday i was just so down about it and trying to think of what i'm gonna do next and now i'm just gonna take it day by day till i know whats happening with work.
At least as with a lot of others on here that you guys don't mind these threads and are always willing to listen or read and reply when someone has something shite happen like this or lose the jobs they've had for years etc.
Thanks all for your replieshttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

well im doing something for a month or so i vowed i would never do again. im driving a bus, but it keeps me off the streets, till my job up north kicks off.
one thing i have found out is all employment agencies are lying , cheating, double dealing, lesbians who couldnt be straight if they tried, and are as crooked as a wizards wanger, the bull sh1tt1ng lower than a bulls bellend
barstewards.
and thats just their good pointsNon intercooled nothing.
