  • Locked and Loaded, getting ready for River Deep, Mountain High..

Big Shed was stock up until Saturday morning.

On Saturday I fitted Old Man Emu shocks and springs all round to give 3'' lift on the back and 2.5'' lift on the front. I also removed the tow hitch (plough).

This evening I fitted new 16x8'' steels wearing some nice new Courser MT's 33x11.5'' (ish). Its now nearly 7 foot tall without a body lift lol.

Snorkle may be fitted before the run, might spend some time waterproofing the engine instead. The lockers (oh my, all three of them) are all working fine. Roll on watery Wales.

          Correct!

I am currently working at a large paper mill - they have a heavy engineering workshop - and I mean BIG STUFF. The manager has given me permission to make anything I want.

Being a qualified toolmaker and trained in the use of lathes, mills etc - I am like a kid in a sweet shop everytime I walk through there - wooo hooooo

Won't a paper body lift be a bit useless Andrew????

Ahhh, but its very special paper, old chap.........(trust you!)

Body lift won't take long to make - its almost identical to the Surfs.

              Some body armour to follow

                      Hi

I'd like to know more about your vehicle (sorry trying to catch up) - can I give you a ring sometime?

Looks the business mate, my pal George has just done similar to his LC, he also added a very nice OEC sourced snorkel.

How do you find the coursers, I thought they were a wee bit noisy on road but great in the mud.

First impressions - quieter than the (admittedly knackered) road tyres that were on there.

As for mud, well, we'll find out in three weeks, won't we!
