hi im after a locking petrol cap seems with the price of deisel going up the louts and druggies round here have found a lucrative market in syphoning it and selling it on. Mine was done the other night and i think once before but put it down to forgeting to close the flap, so does anyone know where i can get one ? thx Colin

it might not be of much use, cos i got one off another surf and even when locked it can still be unscrewed!! you will have to look at the filler hole cos mine has a kind of thread in it so the lock is pretty usless! good luck with getting one that fits. you could always wire one up to the mains so when they come to nick it they will get a little shock!!!

What is the problem, are they forcing open the fuel flap?
If your observant and use your drivers side mirror you should be able to see if the flap has been left open by looking down the side of the body.Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROLComment
