Can I just register a complaint via yourselves of the BLATANT bias against McLaren by the governing bodies
Time and time again decisions go against them, too often to be a coincidence.
I know you are the people making the decisions, but as broadcasters you are in contact with those that do.
Their actions will drive F1 way out of the public eye in the UK because the conception is that there is no justice, especially after the court case last year.
im not really a fan of f1, it seems to me to be down to who has the biggest wallet, but i am interested in who's pocket everyone is in.
is there not a whisper or suspicion that certain red coloured cars are ,or have an almost inexhaustible supply of counterstrikes, should they lose...
never mind complaining to the governing bodies, ask some one from private eye to have a damm good dig around. they may have lost a libel action war against maxwell, but they sure as hell eventually won the war.
get an investigative journo to have a real good dig.
McLaren have said they intend to appeal against a stewards' decision that stripped their Formula One championship leader Lewis Hamilton of victory in the Belgian Grand Prix.
"We have no option other than to register our intention to appeal," said a team spokesman.
It was not clear whether any appeal would be allowed under the sport's rules, however.
Stewards decided Hamilton had cut the chicane and gained an advantage while battling Ferrari's world champion Kimi Raikkonen for the lead.
They imposed a retrospective drive-through penalty, applied at the end of the race in the form of 25 seconds added to his race time.
That demoted Hamilton to third place and cut his championship lead over Ferrari's Brazilian Felipe Massa, the race winner, to two points.
