power steering fluid?

just a quickie power steering fluid needs topping up,as far as i can find with search,seems dextron II should be used can i just check this is right? as ive got dextron III left over from atf change?

i may be wrong, but can't you mix them, as long as you upgrade... Dexron II add DIII.... but can't add DI???

Dexron 111 supersedes Dexron 11 and can be mixed.

i was told the same thing
mines mixed and i have no problems
ya just cant go down a dexron but i have dexron 2 + dexron 3

ran it like that for well over 8 mounths its been fine

ty,already done in the box,just wanted to be sure b4 i put it in the power steering .funniest part is i drove it for the first time in about 10 days yesterday(mrs drives it everyday)soon as i pulled the wheel,i had a "thats not right"moment,went indoors and got "yeah i thought it felt a bit funny"

thats wot i thought lol,on a diff note,put some in earlier,and what was left of the old stuff was brown and full of bubbles looks like that'll be the next thing on my list
