Ive used a few before, they are quick, neat and tidy..but
you never get as much oil out as you do draining, and seen as you generally have to jack the vehicle up and catch any surplus oil from the filter you may as well do it the conventional way.

I used the oil extractor this morning. It certainly got more oil out than the conventional drain plug method,( 7.3 litre) and it was a much easier operation.
Placed pipe in dipstick tube pumped it 20 times went for a cup of tea came back changed the filter from the top (2nd gen) topped up oil and finished.
No mess no crawling about underneath Great.
