how many reds?

on 2nd gen surfs.. how many different colours of the metallic red are there?

is there just the one RED and thats the metallic and thats it? or is there a whole array?

On your VIN plate there's a paint code, think your's is 25T like mine. Which means your truck is 3J8 Prussian Red Pearl with 179 Dark Grey Metallic

a full on almost blood red colour an then burgundiddy with the grey bits

ok, thanks guys.. yes mine does look a lot like the trucks with the burgundy with the grey bits.. except my truck doesnt have any grey bits at all!

i thought all blood red motors had the angry red interior and dash?

No, that was only preface lift models in burgendiddy! It was part of a colour matched interiour.

early blue trucks had a blue interiour, my old green one had green hints on the seats etc etc.

im going to take the wing down to the body shop bloke and have him spray it off the car, and do the whole wing,
i really like the colour of my truck..

i have been using t-cut metalic red colour restorer, and now i think the whole truck is a slightly different colour...

may be if i use t-cut metallic blue colour restorer i will get the truck a nasty purple! hehe

You do realised you're just polishing clear laquer, don't you?

dunno how it works, but after i have polished it, i put 2 coats of wax on. and it lasts until we get heavy rain...

and then if you look closely, the black rubbers have slightly gone red..

but the car can change colour!



remember when you was little, and you had those little play cars that changed colour when they got wet..
i think mines just a larger one of them... kidding obviosly
