GT dog was trying to find out for me, but I forgot the series number you told me, was it 4700 or something?

He also said it sometime depends on the marinisation, and who it was converted by.

Judging by Tony's answer and your last post, I assume it's in a floating vessel? Have you tried a respective forum? I'd think they should have an idea.

If that site is on it's usual par, it'll probably go nowhere. No idea whether I'm just unlucky when I come across that place or what, but that site drives me to distraction.

                    Valve clearance

The valve clearances for your ford marine diesel use are as follows.
Non turbo engine inlet and exhaust are set at 15 thou hot
Turbo engine inlet and exhaust are set at 18 thou hot
This is from Lansing Marine direct and for the whole 27 series ie 2700, 2704
2703 etc etc and is also applies to the whole Ford Sabre Marine range.

                    Hope this helps.
                    Mike
ps give them a ring if you like on +44 (01273) 410025
