Transmission cooler!

Just scored myself a decent (i hope) Oil cooler off ze Ebay!

I was going to get a Fluidyne like Boyos old truck had as it seemed a well priced an complete kit but everywhere wanted $40 to ship!

Screw that...

Found one that while i admit is a bit strange looking on the pipework leaving the cooler should be more then enough to take some of the heat off the rad!



Looking forward to getting it an installing it!

Not since mate. I am hoping it was just a fleeting moment an nothing more.

Ive ordered a water temp gauge too so i can keep an eye on it. If it gets too hot i can just stop an get it recovered if need be rather then continue till the surf gauge says something is wrong... which may be too late

Yup the stock gauge aint too reliable, and i'd reccomend the backup fan mod to, mine comes on sometimes after i've switched off and left the truck, they get the temp down fairly quick, these things do run hot!!
