hmmm swop like what, hilux related ?? havnt got anything yet.

what about any central heating services as im a gas engineer (british gas for my sins) does your boiler need a service, or perahps some thermostatic radiator valves.

Just got back from picking up the Lux. some more info on the bargain i got.

I said before it had a new head and belt, this was done only June of last year but not only did it have a brand new head, it also had new radiator, water pump and thermostat.

Question Re the 4 wheel drive. on the high/low gear selector there is a button that says 4 wheel drive, am i to assume that when pressed in.. this engages the 4 wheel drive.
So if thats the case then i can select low/high ratios for both 2 and 4 wheel drive (ontop of the L and 2)

that is correct but do not use 4wd on the road or you'll end up with one hell of a garage bill to put it right after

L and 2 just force the auto box into those gears. The other stick gives you 4WD too.

Aware that I might be teaching grandma to suck eggs, DONT use any form of 4WD on anything other than a loose surface.
