Hard to estimate 'cos it's unique and done to your personal taste. £6000??

I wouldn't take any less than £4500 for mine now if that helps.

Yeah. It's a professionally built truck not some backyard bolt together, plus it's history is well documented in the archives on here.

i'd be looking a touch more than that mark, pickups tend to hold their value better than the surfs, like you say it's hard to put a price on a unique vehicle but i'd go somewhere around a grand either side of £5k.

I think advertised at £6k she'd take a while to sell, but would quite possibly go for that eventually. Advertised at £4k she'd probably be gone within the month.

Whatever you do I still reckon you should contact Total Offroad and say that you've got all the photos and the finished product that would make a damn good start to finish build article.

Be a good piece of publicity for outrageousoffroad and would also be a nice opportunity to get a Surf in the mags for a change.

I guess you could then call them before they go to press and let them know you're thinking of selling to someone who will love the 'stein and see if they will include it or if they wont, feature it on the front page of your website which should get some serious traffic after the article

Might be worthwhile asking over on the elite site too, with it being somewhat of a Surf/Pickup type hybrid.

Think of it as a rolling portfolio for your business, a professionally modified truck for your modifications business, so it'll demand an above average price.

big yotas with rover v8s, hell yeah, i know plenty of people that would go for something like that. She's unique and modified in a usable way. I'd forgotten she was 2wd drive though, so with that in mind i think £6k would be ambitious. Still think you could look for £4-5k though. Your closest vehicle for a price guide has gotta be modified pickups, remembering that stein's chassis and body condition even though she's a 1991 model is probably similar to a UK vehicle 8 or 9 years newer if not better.

One thing i will say that i think people will knock your price down on, or even be put off by is can you drop the rear bumper down a bit, so the tailgate doesn't rest on it when open without too much work?
