if the turbo is located in the same place as the auto turbo then it'll be ok but i've never seen a manual engine bay so i don't know whether its a 2.4 or 3.0l myself yet.He says its a 3.0l but i think he is trying to pull a fast one i'm not sure thats how i need to know if there is any differences in the auto and manual engine bays before i go to Plymouth and collect it

i would be surprised if the 3.0 manual has a different turbo layout to a 3.0 auto..

that would mean different exhaust manifold, different inlet manifold, different air box / filter and all that, tons of work.

if the turbo is on top of the rocker cover its a 2.4.
if the turbo is tucked down next to the engine, its a 3.0..

if im wrong someone say, but i have a 3.0 and a 2.4 and thats what they are like, but they are both auto - but i doubt manaul and autos are different that way

the truck in charlie's link was originally a 2.4, or at least it says it's a 3 litre non turbo conversion, implying it had something else in originally anyway.
