    ok, this is going to geek you right out

    ill make simple instructions, because 99.999% of you wont know what these all mean.

    so anyone without vista do the below (if you want to smile that is)

    1. click on your start menu, and click run.
    2. type cmd in the box and press enter
    3. next a window will open (usually black).
    4. type in this box the below, exactly.

    telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

    5. (so that is telnet, space, address) press enter and enjoy!

          vista doesnt have its own telnet client from the factory. you need putty or similar 3rd party telnet client.

          google putty and you can use that

              as long as you have a telnet client on your mac it will work, and you wont feel left out

                as a member with 3000 posts, im not about to get you to do something thats going to mess your pc up.
                telnet is just a window that allows you to tell other computers to execute commands, there is a certain amount of buffer associated with it, so there is no way its going to do anything bad.

                the only thing that this could do, is register your IP address, and then try to attack open ports at a later date. but these are what firewalls are for.
                you dont have to do it. its just a bit of lunchtime fun. like that game UD trev posted

                          apparently the ipv6 people will have colours! i have vista, but were not on ipv6 yet, so only the lucky few with get to see it in colour!
