  • Air con belt length?

can anyone tell me the actual length of the air con drive belt on a 2nd gen 3l engine?
just ordered a load of service items online - and this one belt won't fit - its a 13/12.5 x 1175mm. there is no size printed on original - so before I give supplier a ring and complain - i just want to make sure it IS the wrong belt.
    cheers guys.

Seems to be the correct length then - or at least the correct length is printed on the belt.
why wont it fit then - even took off the idler/tensioner pully but still wont go over aircon pully.

            UPDATE:
after ringing milners and getting nowhere, I took the belt to Halfrauds and had a quick look through their belt rack and found the right belt for £4.99 - cheaper than the £6 + vat + p+p from milners.
Halfords part number - HB1200c. (the 1200 part being the length)
No doubt all the surf drive belts can be sourced from their / other auto stores if you know the size.

i noticed when fitting new belts that the air con was tight but i just prised it on and had no probs but i don't think it was a inch shorter than the old one tho

The correct size air con belt is also a tight fit on the 2.4s.

yeah, new 3.0's belts are a bitch to get on. Unbolt the idler (make sure its all the way down), place it on the belt then slip the lot back over the bolt.
