They weren't using facts to back up their opinions on the truck's capabilities. So they were wrong, very wrong.
I personally like 2CVs (no apostrophe by the way) they do exactly what they were designed to do, so it's not easy to fault them; unless you try do what they're not designed to do, then they will be crap.
can't see where the "utter tosh" was in the unbiased information??
First example. Is this an unbiased or even slightly accurate description?
lemons mate has one and its always in the work shop.shit off road and motor is always up the shit
No. It is not. It is nothing more than personal opinion and/or experience. That has no relation to truth in the overall context of the thread, (or in any context outside of personal opinion and experience, for that matter). Thereby, the fact that I merely used the word tosh was rather polite in itself.
there's no better review than a personal experience!
I'm classing this as nothing more than a windup from now on, which is exactly what it appears to be. Personal experience is exactly that and nothing more. One never makes a sweeping statement when working from experience of a single instance. Pure and simple.

Exactly
It's a bit like me saying all Bentlys are shit because a mate of mine had one that broke down, then fell off the transporter that was taking it to be repaired and lastly caught fire in the garage. (True statement by the way!)
