Thought I'd treat my new engine to some new sparkplugs, so I'm thinking some nice iridium ones 'till I saw the price!

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XP3923-BKR6E-N...6.c0.m14.l1318

I'll need eight which works out at 206 quid!!!!!!!

Looks like I'll be ordering from the U.S.A. again then.

£24.99 for the initial 4 plugs, then £2.99 for each additional plug.

It's a badly worded and very badly laid out advert.

                Nope, we'd never do that.

                    Nooooooo!!!

You need one set of 4 at £24.99 and 4 individual plugs at £2.99 each.

                    4+1+1+1+1=8

                      Nope. £36-95, as Albannach said.

I'd be tempted to get a price from a local factors or such though Vince. If he charges £25 for the first four and just £2.99 for each one thereafter, there's a con in there somewhere. Plus, he sounds a muppet.

i used to clean my last iradium plugs with break cleaner from the £1 shop and then buff them up with a brass wire brush drill attachment also from the £1 shop

put the drill in the vice and hold the plug to the brush spinning round ect

it never broke the porcelin away from the tips and they always looked as good as new and the spark crystal blue again.

You'd buy the set he has for sale at £24.99 then add £11.96 to the postage bit. He'd then send you 8 plugs (his P&P is free)

I think the inflated £24.99 is to cover all his fees (PayPal and eBay) plus his actual postage costs. The 4 additional plugs won't attract eBay fees as he's asking you to pay for them as if it was postage (no fees on postage).
