atf change link?

ok ive searched and searched,i cant find a "how to"anywhere,also how much atf do i need and is it def dextron 3? tia

IIRC it's actually Dextron 2 but 3's compatible

Dexron 11 or 111 is fine. If youre only dropping the sump content and refilling its about 5L but if youre doing the whole system its a bunch more. There is a thread somewhere on this and Id search for you if I could be bothered. Someome out there will come along who knows exactly where it is.

aye, dexron II or III.

bout 4 - 4.5 litres if you're just draining the sump and topping back up, bout 7- 8 litres for a full flush & change using the 'pull the pipes off the back of the cooler method' IIRC

dex 3 has taken over dex 2 but you can still get dex2 in some places so it don't matter which one you use

Within this thread theres a link to the aus site and a write up for a full change. Its obviously better to change the lot but unless its really needed, if its smelly and badly discoloured and burnt looking, its a lot of faff for little gain ( IMHO) I suppose Dexron 111 is supposedly better than 11 but again I doubt its hugely different and 11 will be just fine
