From what i can make out i need a pinion shim that is 0.077" or 0.076".

0.076" normally but sometimes on Yukon gears it needs 0.077"!

Anyone got a clue in hell where i can buy the shims?!

I might give him a call tomorrow. See what he thinks.

Ive managed to crack most of it i think!! Or at least.... enough that my uncle will be able to sort it out.

big question is will i need to renew the wheel bearings in the back axle as the drive shafts are out it would be easier... but then its about £60 more to the bill

I've got a set of shims that came in a rebuild kit that I haven't used (decided to keep the same ratio). Don't know what the thicknesses are, but it's a Precision Gear set so I'm sure the right one must be in there somewhere. Make me an offer (not that sort!)
