Well, this morning I KNOW that I've been very very drunk in Upton yesterday

I'm just going to tuck in to a full english courtesy of my life-saver of a wife, and then I'm gonna stare at the German GP for a few hours.

Maybe later, when my legs wake up, I'll get out for a walk on the common in the sunshine.

I hope the lads in Wales fared better after last nights merriment

Andy Lovely Boyo, Pete 4Runner and Matt 24/7 are out there doing what we do (and some dream of doing) in Wales tonight.

Yes, they're getting drunk on our behalf.

I spoke to Andy this afternoon from the Upton on Severn blues festival. He'd just tried out some of the TOR roadbook routes in that area and - god bless him - found them to be 'awesome'.

Its people like Andy, going to the edges of the envelope and coming back, that give the rest of us the opportunity to follow in his illustrious drunken footsteps. So tonight, while you're lying safe in bed in your warm and dry semi-detatched, spare a thought for our distant brothers out there, drunk, in Wales.
