My dad spent all his life driving trucks, from ones with no heater or radio inthe sixties used to deliver sugarbeet and fertiliser through the whole spectrum of low loaders, mobile libraries, loading shovels, refuse trucks and eventually ended up with a nice 12 wheel Ford tipper. He was awarded a gold medal by the Irish Road Safety associateion for 25 years of safe driving. He died 14 years ago on July 6th
On July 5th (spooky timing) this year I got word from Eddie Stobbart that PX08 FDL, a MAN TGX has entered the fleet and is named Keira Eve -after my daughter but in honour of her grandad.
So if you see 'Keira Eve' , slow down, drive safely and think of all your loved ones at home waiting for you.
