What sort of MPG are you getting?

Just wondering, I have had 2 surfs now, one was a 1993 2.4 and the one which I have now is a 1992 2.4, does anyone know if there are any differences between them engine wise...
The 1993 car got an average of 26 MPG with carpet slippers but I am struggling to get 21 with the 1992 car...
Both had around the same miles and both were identical except in colour...

What MPG is everyone getting, are my figures good or bad???
