if i dont get info on tech spec of hilux surf as im dead keen on buying but need to know what it does to the gallon urban/extra urban.......
towing weight and all usual stuff to help

anybody help with this ?

25-30 mpg but depends on how heavy your right foot is. the surf can tow 100% of its own weight 2 tonne approx.
you also have a very good mechanic in your area iff you need surf repairs.
2 engine sizes on the 2nd gen 2.4 & 3.0 diesel all depends on your budget

Just say it does 100 mpg, and could pull a jumbo jet in the snow.

Then she'll let you buy one, and fall in love with you all over again cause of your amazing taste!

i see you're in stockport. not sure if its any use to you but there's a sweet 2.4 for sale in a backstreet garage just off dickenson lane in rusholme. he was asking about £4.5k for it but i found out that the guy has had it in for about 4 months and i'm sure he'd take a MUCH lower bid for cash.

i've not had mine long enough to fully determing the MPG and i haven't had the towbar fitted yet so i'm not much use to ya.

yeah, it wasnt the best.
he was convinced it was a 3.0 and naturally it wasn't.
it was in ace condition though (at least to look at) and i just got the impression that he'd had it in so long that he was asking to be 'bid in the balls' !
