  • London To Mongolia

Check out these intrepid guys I saw in the local paper.....

Not heard of them on the forum before- maybe they could have used our support. Too late to offer advice or technical help as they left London yesterday. Good luck anyway- I will be interesting to see if they make it!

Weren't these the guys that came on here wanting info about the trucks before buying one. They only posted a couple of times and that was the last i heard of them.
There was another guy from Ireland aswell that bought a 2.4 for doing the same type of trip aswell but ran into numerous problems with the truck he bought.

me and my friend were going to do this when we both got jobs that were not contract so we could take holiday and try for better sponsorship.. but they changed the rules so that now ANY car can partake. the rule before was that it had to be 1000cc (1 litre) or less.. so it was mainly fiat panda's. minis, and those really dodgy 4x4 dihatsu or whatever they are thingies..
      Oh Nana, what's my name?
