Help buying surf?

hi all, i'm looking at buying a surf in the near future, hopefully i should be able to find a '93 vintage within my budget...

i'm located in the Cheshire area, would there be anyone around this area (i'll probably travel upto about 70-80 miles to find the right one) that has expertise in the surf help me check a few potential candidates out? i'm ok buying 2nd hand cars, but i'm not used to looking at these beefy 4x4 oil-burners . i'm sure i can return some beer tokens for the favour!

Pleased to see someone else has seen the light.
