    Can you run 3 miles? (pics added)

    Me and my bro had a wee drink tonight with friends. Our pal Cathy is doing a Race for life tomorrow and we were all wishing her well when Brian enquired as to the distance she would have to run.

    "5k or around 3 miles" was the reply.

    Because he had a few drinks in him, Brian said "3 miles! nae bother"

    He was then challenged to run 3 miles tomorrow and try to win the £40 that was wagered.

    I will post pics and the result tomorrow.

    I am sure my brother has the heart of a lion, pure grit and determination might make him actually run 3 miles but I'm pretty sure that all the alcohol he has consumed tonight and the fact that he hasn't run more than 30 yards in 20 years means the wager is pretty safe.

                          He Did It!!!!

                          Well done Brian, and his son Connor, they did the run, 3 miles and no stopping,walking or getting a lift in my truck (although Brian was tempted)

                          1-0 to the stubborn #######s! lol.
