SVA Changes ????

Just had a mail from the agent in Japan where we got the surf from, and he's advising me that they have been notified in changes to the SVA test as from the 1st April on japanese imports. Anyone know of this and what the changes are??

The reason I'm waiting a month for a SVA test, (as opposed to 2 wks) is due to the changes on April 1st. Everyone, (dealers?) where getting in there before the date, hence the backlog!

Was this not the ESVA which was due in anyway ??
Might be wrong but i think Uk government postponed it from Sept 2003 to Sept 2004, might be wrong, i'll not be the first time.

Anyway just buy a 1993 / 1994 (May /June) & by the time it arrives no ESVA or SVA needed.

The cost of the SVA test is going up from £250.00 to £1500.00 as far as I am aware.
