My past jobs include the worst Health & Safety Records. I was a Farmer after leaving School= 4 Years. Then i worked for GLACIER BEARINGS pouring White Metals Lead based, Tin Based & White Bronze. Chains & Slings, FLT. Caustic & Hydrochlauric acid. Transport & Airfreight. Ive been involved with Safety & Risk Assessment for a Long time. This i enjoy so just Maybe i get the break i need.

Safety Reps are very well thought of by Senior Management at our place and even though they don't get paid anymore I'm sure it helps when it comes to getting a higher paid job in the future.

One of the industrial safety advisers I work with was a Safety Rep first, then when I job came up moved into full time H&S or SHE as it seems to be going

That's a bit harsh, the ones we have still get paid the same as us...
