I just don't need it anymore as I won't be towing so can get something smaller & better on fuel.

Fuel is so expensive it is just not worth keeping it as can get dogs in the back of something smaller so only need a decent sized boot or even seats that fold down

The fuel consumtion on Tony & Linda's pug is just too good to ignore

mates got one been looking at one myself but i want to keep the surf
but they are very good on juice very cool off road come in 1.8 petrol and with 3 differant diesels

plus loads of other things fit in

Its a sad mate for sure, but like you said, you don't need to tow anymore, you don't go offroad, so whats the point of having a big truck expensive to run truck.

And you can alway borrow ours if you miss it now and again!

That focus wasn't bad that was at your house, but apparently they are crap compared to the equivalent vauxhall which is the astra. I had an astra & loved it.

She needs car, big enough to 2 greyhounds without having to fold the back seats down, but sub 1500cc and pre 2001 to take advantage of the cheaper tax, while still having a decent sized car.

Something like a Focus or Astra Estate would be ideal, or what ever the Jap equivilents are.
