I did 200 miles motorway driving keeping the revs at between 2- 2.500 except for the odd overtaking of motorway dawdlers!
No speedo so usage worked out from postcode distances and fuel used.
Darwen to Didcot, breezy headwind. Some roadworks on M42. New Maxxis Trepador Mud tyres in 31" at 40psi.
Lifted surf carrying family and stuff.
1/3 of the tank was biodiesel and rest tesco diesel.
Happy to announce a cool 22 mpg.
Probably did better going home with gusty tailwind!
I`m happy with those figures seeing as my truck has the off-roading mods.
At the last MoT they told me it`s running rich so I could probably improve things but who wants to lose power

40psi? your run must have been hard one...used to run on 25-30psi for 31/10.5/15s

          Hi Gaz,
Not so, I am so impressed with the tyres (and OME shocks) I have sworn never to buy retreads again! For me it`s 40psi road and 24 off-road. Very smooth ride, maximum fuel economy and hardly any noise from the tread. I`ve also noted the little dots are wearing evenly across the section width. whereas my colways at`s wore in the middle at 30psi!

It`s not tyres which make an ass-kicking ride!
