The V6 is rubbish...
After the 33 and 75 alfa's have gone rubbish...
My mate had a V6 and the oil seals where only one of the problems...
I wud not go for it mate...
Plus there is a lot of plastic in them not much chrome...One day at the time I guess..

You are mental Toby!
The 3.0 V6 is Alfas finest engine! It's an absolute joy! I test drove a V6 powered GTV ages ago and it was super-sweet! Sounded a dream and went like stink! All that, plus Alfa styling too.
Dont listen to the naysayers who slate Alfa reliability. These days they're as good as any other european marque, and look like sex on wheels.
I'd have another any day! And next time, the 3.0 V6 would be top of the list.
Only thing I would say (and this was told to me by an independent Alfa / Lancia specialist who had a line of Integrales and an 037 (!) in his workshop so must be trusted!) was be fastidious with your oil changes. Alfas like fresh oil.Last edited by Apache; 24 June 2008, 23:41.Cutting steps in the roof of the world

Depends entirely on how well its been looked after surely? Nice big engine wont be that highly stressed. My 145 Cloverleaf had about 120k miles on it when I sold it four years ago. Was still going strong when I left my last job last July.Cutting steps in the roof of the world
