Who has one, what type and is it any good, how much beer can you get in it.

I see Aladi are selling one 28 litre capacity, 12v or 230v integrated fan for rapid cooling ( this is their blurb) the height allows for 2 standard bottles of wine too. £29.99

Sooooooo, has anyone else got one I should be looking at?

They also have a 3 socket rcd and fusebox mobile power unit with a 20m flex for £49.99 which seems pretty good too.

The reason I was looking at this stuff is for days away with the family but also for cold beer supply at the Clog, HELL YEH!

      I've a 12v cooler / warmer.

I cannot say on the warming but the cooling is bugger all to write home about, I haven't tried it's thermal retention properties for a while so cannot comment on that.

It can take 24 cans of coke so a dozen cans of beer shouldn't be a problem.

I will say that it's a hungry beast on the battery.

A little tip for you, you can run one of these for an hour or two on one of those power pack units.

Cheers trev, the power pack thing is actually an invertor that connects to car.
I'm thinking save my money and get a big coolbox and lots of ice.

Got one from Argos for £30.

Got loads of bottles of beer and meat for the BBQ in for the last wales run. Cooled it all really well (and had fan!). I reckon beer alone, you'd get 30 cans in it.

A 'two thumbs up' from me!

Ive got a 35lt 3 way fridge in the back of my Surf...

                        GAS - will freeze things!
                        240v - will cool nicely
12v - hold whatever temp you can get it down to before putting it in the car..

I use it for camping a lot...

put it on the 240v the night before to get it down to temp, fill it with cold stuff from the house fridge, then as soon as we are ready to go, whack it in the car and run it on 12v till we get to the camp spot.. connect to GAS and keep on its lowest (warmest) setting and it will still freeze stuff if the ambient temp is low enough.... uses 1.25kg of gas in 3 days....
