I see your in Rickmansworth. What lanes were you trying? Theres a few around Chesham, and plenty around the Luton/Hitchin area. I was there last night in fact.

Furneax Pelham's only a short drive away too

Id be happy to show you some of the local lanes some time. Ive only got a bog standard Surf with road tyres but ive had no problems so far

Theres 3 or 4 around Chesham. Along Vale road theres Ramscote lane by the ostrich farm, one just past the pub on the right and one down pound lane. Theres a long one a bit further down past Cholesbury thats closed over winter

I use http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/ to find the green lanes, saves buying a map for every area

We found two yesterday that have been TRO'ed ......Heddington Steps and Olivers castle . Both are great routes and have beed fenced off ,
Also the old roman road to heddington and cherhill down have dragons teeth blocking access . the allowed routes are becoming less

Still we gave Biosurf a good first plains trip
