You still have petrol!!! Been past a few stations and they're already run dry. Time to put a nearly dry mondeo to bed on the drive and head out in the veggie powered surf.
Had a lie in today - didn't get up until nearly 06:00 so I went and filled the Focus up at Tescos. No queue's when I got there but by the time I'd filled up and checked the tyre pressures it was getting busy.
Have not seen any garages without fuel yet, nor any sudden price hikes - one holds one's breath - but my local garage has restricted you to a 30 litre limit!!
I just passed a BP filling station at Attleborough on the A11 in Norfolk and they have hiked the diesel up to £130.9/litre!!
The owner is the local spokesman for the fuel buyers association, or something like that, he is often on our local news spouting about the cost of fuel and how it should be kept down, and here he is taking advantage again !! By the way, the Shell station on the opposite side of the road has diesel at £1.28/litre.
I HATE profiteering sods like him, I hope no-one uses his inflation station!!!!
We have a small forecourt down here attached to a Renault dealership, they are always a few pence more than everyone else, yet somehow there's nearly always a ruddy queue there
We were at 134.9 ppl a couple of weeks back, think most round here are back down to around 130.9 now, though have to admit i last filled up over a week ago and i still got 3/4 tank left so haven't been taking a huge amount of notice.
Still recovering from the shock of £83 to fill up last time round though.
