  • cheap snokel....

    bought a landrover defender snorkel off gay-bay last week n i moddified it to fit my gen 2 . its not as pretty as safari or the others but it was new n only £70 delivered and does the job with a few modds. its also made from metal so its a lot heavier than a safari would be but i cant justify spending over 200 notes on a safari one . some of may think it looks shite but it i like it ! if anyones interested i'll post up how to do it ! cheers guys . jon

    you could have asked the Yeti or Blizzard, they each did a homemade one

    But well done for adapting a part with a family history of leaking oil and falling apart

          A snorkel any bush mechanic would be proud of.

            got a home made snorkel on mine, seeled up the structural member behind the wing to take the air from the pipe down to the air filter box

            and it's got a snorkel top from a lamerover
            Hold my beer and watch this
