      Silly question time !!

      WHY drill the roof ?

Can you not tuck/route the cables behind the door seal ?

Exactly. It's not as if you're affraid to live life 'on the edge' is it? I mean, no ARBs an all.

Have I ever told you that you have a lovely silver star?.......mine's platinum by the way.

Trev, its cos some people wanna do a proper job

Gra, check this out. Polyamide IP68 gland (submersible) will not ever ever leak if fitted properly, not like a door seal breached by a cable...

Go for one which is just slightly larger (uncompressed) than the cable you are using, and use a sheath on to make your bunch of cables into a single one as the gland grips better on a single round cable. If you can find my rooflights diary, that explains it better.
