After spending a little time (around 6 hours) removing mud and clay from Growler following yesterdays little outing, I found these underneath







Fortunately this appears to be the worst of the damage other than a tweaked side step on the nearside. Really must get them swapped for a set of sliders

Will be using that on the front one but the centre has had the bolt hole ripped where it is creased so am looking for a replacement. Mainly cause it's easier

What about a bashplate like mine? Thick stainless instead of baking tray tin?

Am seriously thinking of something like that. Will have to talk to the Stein at some point I think along with some sliders, unless you have a spare lying around

I'm breaking my Surf (others are too), so have the transfer cash bash plate available. Don't have the front one though as it's worse than yours!
